Fifi was the Trainee Female Conductor at Opera North 2022-23 and was AssistantConductor at the Opera de Massy 2020-21. She is currently studying for an MMus in Conducting at the Royal Northern College of Music with Mark Heron. In 2021 shegraduated with Perfectionment in Conducting and Composition from the École Normalede Musique de Paris under Dominique Rouits, Julien Masmondet and Regis Campo. In 2022 she gained the Advanced Certificate in Contemporary Repertoire from the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana under Arturo Tamayo.
She has participated in masterclasses with Marin Alsop, Daniele Gatti, Jorma Panula, Sir Mark Elder, and Antony Hermus. She has conducted the Hallé, Philharmonia, Manchester Camerata, Orchestre Victor Hugo Franche-Comté, Dartington Festival Orchestra, Ensemble Variances and Ensemble des Apaches. She was a participant in the 57th and 58th editions of the Besançon International Competition for Young Conductors.
She has assisted the BBC and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic on behalf of the RNCM.
Fifi has a BA Hons in Music from the University of Oxford where she was a choral and instrumental scholar.
She has also conducted the London Schools Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican Centre where she was the principal trumpet whilst at school.
