Katy Jameson

Lizzie is an educator, theatre artist, and vocalist from Denver, Colorado. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University in Performance Creation. Throughout her degree, she studied English language, literature, video game narrative, and playwriting. Her academic work has been published in Concordia's Undergraduate Journal of Performance Creation, and her plays have been produced in Montreal and Los Angeles. 

Additionally, she's worked in the past in live performance and theatre. She has worked on over 40 productions as a director, stage manager, technical director, and general technician. In this time, she has collaborated with theatre artists ages 5-90. Organizations she's worked for include the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Teesri Duniya Theatre, Two Cent Lion Theatre, and Twisted Gifts Productions as part of the Montreal Fringe Festival. She is one of two current artistic leads of Cherry Nova Productions, an independent theatre group which produces multi-medium theatre and cabarets. 

Lizzie is a vocalist trained in classical, jazz, and musical theatre voice. In the past she has performed with the Carnegie Hall National Festival Chorus, Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts, Disney Imagination Campus, the Colorado All-State Jazz Choir. She is excited to incorporate singing into any course!

As an educator, she has previously taught for the Denver Center for the Performing Arts Education Department and Geordie Theatre. She is experienced in developing theatre curriculum for youth and supporting a vast range of students in their education as performers and behind the scenes artists.
